TAX ACCOUNTANT
INDUSTRY: MANUFACTURING & FMCG
LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM
Our client in the Manufacturing & FMCG industry is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities:
• Manage VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, and statutory compliance
• Handle internal & external audits and respond to audit queries
• Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and compliance records
• Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and relevant stakeholders
• Monitor daily financial transactions and reporting accuracy
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls
• Identify compliance risks and support corrective measures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA / ACCA / CMA is Mandatory
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting, tax, audit, or compliance
• Manufacturing or FMCG experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of tax & statutory compliance
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills
